The headstock has a crack through the E tuner hole, common on many old Fenders but it had been repaired prior to me getting the neck and is very solid. Strictly speaking the tuners should be the oval or egg shaped type but I personally prefer the reverse Klusons. Note damage to the original decal, the words 'jazz bass' are all but gone!
