Black '57 style S type with soft V one piece neck and alder body finished in nitro-cellulose.

Steel trem block, stamped saddles, CRL switch, CTS pots, Voodoo ST50 pickups, top quality stuff throughout.

The distressing is based on a very famous guitar, I'll leave you to work that one out!

A very nice looking and playing/sounding guitar...

Three tone sunburst '58 'S' type guitar, maple one piece neck, single ply 8 hole pickguard, cool nitro finish, aged to about 7 out of 10.

The Voodoo ST50's give the guitar that lovely 'thin' sounding shimmer, the guitar is vibrant and resonant even acoustically, cool looks, cool sounds...very, very nice...

Totally cool S type guitar, sonic blue over a sunburst, never done one of these before, the result looks great.

Nice lightweight alder body, Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with clay dots.

The black, red and orange from the sunburst can be clearly seen under the sonic blue paint, came out better than I'd hoped. The Brazilian rosewood board is lovely and dark, looks and feels the part.

It's a cool one......

Hardtail '59 two tone (faded) sunburst 'S' type guitar, alder body, maple neck with Brazilian rosewood fingerboard and clay dots. the nitro finish is distressed to about 6 out of 10.

The knobs and pickup covers are rounded and worn as the early 'Bakelite' type tended to end up with use.

The pickups are Voodoo ST50's, the guitar features vintage style CTS pots and the latest addition to the Bravewood details.....a repro Cornell Dubilier cap...just for that vintage vibe. Made in house, these little caps really add to the authenticity, even though they can't be seen, nice to know they're under the hood!

This is one that I've been meaning to build for a while. This was made up more or less completely from bits and pieces that have been laying around the workshop for years.

I made the body several years ago, it was sprayed fiesta red but I wasn't keen on the shade of the colour...so I didn't use it and it just kicked around for ages. The neck was one I made, again it didn't get used on anything...until now.

I've always had a bit of a thing for that 'stripped' vintage guitar look so decided to make this look like a bit of a modded 'player', stripped alder body, distressed 'original' finish neck, aged guard but with changed parts, black pickup covers, cool rails in the back, barrel T type Bakelite switch tip, etc. It's also got  a Callaham steel block.....

How does it sound?, absolutely amazing, I've currently got a real 1957 Fender Stratoacaster here that I've just refinished for a friend and this bitster just blows it away......honestly!!!!, I built this for myself just to noodle around on and to do a little recording, I couldn't have hoped for better.....

Slab board S type, nicely yellowed and distressed olympic white finish, clay dots, aged green guard.

The neck is fitted with jumbo frets and strung with 11-52's, pickups are Voodoo ST60's, awesome big tone from this one!

1963 S type, finished in a 5/6 out of 10 distressed sonic blue. The curved join Brazilian rosewood fingerboard is almost ebony black...gorgeous!!!

A top drawer guitar, clay dots with mid '63 on spacing, steel trem block, paper thin nitro finish, authentic aged plastics and metal work, CRL switch, CTS pots, etc. etc.

Voodoo ST60 pickups handle the noise collecting duties...and sound incredible.

An absolutely peach of a guitar...I'll be sorry to see it go...

Here's a really heavily distressed sunburst S type, probably the most distressed guitar I've built to date.

Producing a distressed look of this kind is literally hour upon hour of meticulous work, just distressing the lacquer on the body alone took three days!

It was a lot of work but the result was well worth the effort...a guitar that Rory or Stevie would have been proud to play I'm sure...!!!

Gorgeous slab board S type in fiesta red, light distressing but with plenty of weather checking.

All the usual Bravewood stuff is here, paper thin nitro finish on both body and neck, hand aged wide bevel guard, clay dots, etc. etc.

A totally cool looking and playing guitar in a really cool colour...

Early '60's slab board S type, well used and abused, 'chucked in back of the van for several years' look and feel!

Here's something a little unusual...a mahogany bodied S type with figured neck.

The pickups are Voodoo ST60's, pots are CTS, switch is a CRL, the pickguard is an anodised gold 8 hole type, gold hardware has been used throughout...this is one gorgeous guitar....

The neck is fitted with jumbo frets, the whole guitar is resonant and just sings, another one I didn't want to put down.

Sonic blue works really well on these guitars and with the hand aged pickguard, it looks so cool, a stunning looking and sounding instrument...

Hardtail '61 S type, this guitar features a real 1961 stratocaster neck and mostly original pre-CBS parts. The neck was oversprayed and in really good condition so I distressed the body to match.

Well worn sunburst finish, about a 3 out of 10...cool looking and playing guitar!
