Well, they don't come a lot more worn than this!

'55 T type finished in nitro-cellulose blonde, then very heavily distressed. This certainly won't be everybodies cup of tea, but it's a cool looking and playing guitar that looks like it's seen it all...

The body is swamp ash, the neck is one piece maple, all made to vintage spec.

Pickups are Voodoo TE60's, CTS pots, CRL switch...all the usual top quality parts.

A very cool machine.....

Slab board, bound T type guitar. Finished in nitro-cellulose three tone sunburst, distressed to approx. 6 out of 10.

Voodoo TE60's gather the notes, the pots are CTS and the switch is a new old stock CRL.

Makes you want to reach for that '70's flanger and echoplex and start playing 'walking on the moon'!

A great guitar that looks as good as it sounds...classic.

Early '60's style slab board T type. This is finished in a yellowed olympic white, so although it might appear to be a blonde.....it ain't!

The Brazilian rosewood board is almost ebony black, clay dots, vintage 7.25" radius, vintage size frets.

The lightweight alder body complements the neck perfectly, the guitar is resonant and sweet sounding...lovely.

The pickguard is a handmade, hand aged 3 ply mint green. Cool looks, cool player...awesome guitar...

Very early B type replica, swamp ash body, maple one piece neck, this one's a little unusual in as much as the skunk strip and headstock plug are maple, seen on only a few very early vintage guitars of this type.

Hand made and aged Bakelite pickguard, original Bakelite switch tip from the '50's, milled jack cup, slot head screws throughout, and the usual top notch hardware makes this a very pleasing resonant guitar.

Doesn't get a lot better than this...gorgeous!

Slab board lake placid blue T type. Early '60's style, 3 ply aged green guard, big frets, chunky neck......big tone!

An absolutely awesome twang machine!

1958 T type guitar, nitro blonde finish over swamp ash, one piece chunky neck with vintage style frets.

Voodoo TE pickups, all the usual top quality hardware made this guitar one killer tone machine...awesome!

Blackguard T type, finished in butterscotch, distressed to about 6 out of 10. Lightweight swamp ash body and stiff maple neck make this little beauty a total tone machine.

All the usual Bravewood appointments are present, paper thin nitro coat, handmade and hand aged Bakelite pickguard, CRL switch, CTS pots, all top quality hardware. etc.

A great guitar...

1963 replica T type finished in distressed lake placid blue. This guitar features a red alder body, soft V maple neck with a Brazilian rosewood curved join board with clay dots.

The pickups are hand wound Bare Knuckles...it sounds great...alive and resonant

Another totally cool looking and sounding guitar that you just want to play and play...look at...and play some more!!!

1966 style T type guitar, this features an alder body finished in a 7/8 out 10 distressed candy apple red (period correct with gold 'undercoat')

The maple neck has a curved (veneer) type rosewood fingerboard and pearloid dots with correct 12th fret spacing.

The parchment guard is a hand made and hand aged.

Voodoo TE 60 greys finish off the guitar...and sound fantastic!

Here's a cool one, sonic blue with cream binding...

Slab rosewood board, clay dots, alder body, hand aged green guard, Lindy Fralin pickups...

Distressed to about 8 out of 10.....a cool guitar!

1961 replica T type, handmade body and neck. The neck features a Brazilian rosewood slab fingerboard with real clay dots from 1961!!!

Many of the parts used in this guitar are from 1961, bridge, neckplate, tuners, pots, etc., this gives the guitar a really nice vintage vibe.

The body is lightweight and resonant and the neck is an absolute peach, the Brazilian rosewood board is nice and dark, feels and looks great.

A stonking guitar!!!

Here's something a little different from the usual...a semi-solid T type.

I hadn't built one of these before, I did some research and built it the traditional way. I firstly sliced off a 6mm 'veneer' from a mahogany body blank, cut the body, routed out the chambers in the correct places then glued the 6mm veneer back on to the rear of the body. I then made up a template to router the F hole at the front. I also had to custom make the pickguard as I couldn't find one with a humbucker rout!

The humbuckers are wired for single coil use via push/pull pots.

The guitar is a total success, sounds incredible, looks stunning and is light and resonant...I am really pleased with the way this one came out.

Early blackguard replica, haven't done one of these for a while and this one came out great. Voodoo pickups, handmade Bakelite pickguard, full nitro finish distressed to about 6 out of 10.

The guitar is really resonant and alive, the total weight was under 7lbs...nice.

Early '60's slab board bound T type, finished in sunburst and distressed to about 8 out of 10.

All the usual Bravewood stuff is here, clay dots, hand made, hand aged guard, 100% paper thin nitro finish.....another totally corking guitar...another one I didn't want to put down!

Early '60's slab board T type, finished in lake placid blue and distressed to about 6/7 out of 10.

Thick, dark slab fingerboard with clay dots. Hand made and hand aged 'wide bevel' 3 ply mint pickguard, I couldn't put this one down after I built it, sounds great and plays beautifully...looks totally cool too...

'1963 T'........not sure whether or not this should be on the vintage restoration page, despite the fact that I made both the body and neck, most of the hardware is actually genuine pre-CBS telecaster parts!

The swamp ash body was made to exacting detail along with the neck, which features a curved join Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with clay dots...
