1960 style S type in fiesta red

Available now is this gorgeous fiesta red S type, based on a 1960 model, it has a handmade alder body and maple neck with rosewood slab fingerboard and clay dots. The finish is 100% nitro-cellulose and is distressed to approx. 6 out of 10. The neck is fitted with medium frets and has a 9.5" radius. The neck has a pleasing C profile and is approx. 21mm in depth at the first fret, 24.5mm at the 12th. The neck also has a very nice light flaming along it's length, subtle but there.....

The guitar features handwound Voodoo ST60 pickups, these are wired with cloth covered wire and through CTS pots, a CRL 5 way switch and a Switchcraft jack. The cap is a repro of the wax paper type used in the early days.

The trem has stamped saddles and a steel block for the ultimate in tone. The plastics are aged to suit the wear on the guitar and look very authentic.

The distressing is very convincing, there's plenty of white primer showing beneath the fiesta red, not a look that is easily achieved. The guitar plays like like a dream and has a very stridant, resonant sound. It comes complete with a hardcase.

A real one of these from 1960 (in this colour) I have seen going for anywhere between 25-50 grand...crazy money!!!, if you haven't got that kind of money kicking around in your back pocket, the good news is you could buy this for considerably less!.....and it will probably sound, play and look as good as the one costing 20 times the amount...

Sorry....SOLD
